It was an absolute blast with Lea & Fabian at their State Fair engagement in Phoenix! I’ve been wanting to shoot at the State Fair for so long, and I was thrilled with these two suggested it! It’s been an annual date for them since they met 7 years ago. We rode rides, played games, and they even bought me a corn dog before we left. So basically it was the best day ever.
I asked Fabian how he proposed to Lea:
“Lea’s father and I made up the plan after I had asked him for her hand in marriage. The plan was to have a fake fancy dinner with the whole family- her parents and mine- for the first time. When she was ready to leave, I told her to come on the roof to see the lights I put up. I had a romantic table and chairs with music and candles waiting for just the two of us. We sat down, drank some wine, and her parents brought up a fancy Italian dinner. We ate and drank and danced then I got down on one knee beside the table and proposed. Her friend from 1st grade and another friend from college brought up champagne and chocolate strawberries. Then after a little while all of our family and friends came up to the roof with balloons to congratulate us. Then we all went back inside to have an engagement party.”
So thoughtful and awesome! Can’t wait for your wedding!
