I love when my couples trust me to try something new, so Lauren & Ryan opted to be pioneers at a new location for their desert engagement photos. I’m so glad they did, because just look how gorgeous they are together! There’s nothing like the open desert for a neutral palette and beautiful love. I asked Lauren to tell me how Ryan proposed:
“We were in Washington for the Gonzaga vs. U of A basketball game in December. I hadn’t been back to campus or to Spokane since graduation, so I was really excited to be back in our old stomping grounds. I wanted to take a picture in front of the tree in the lobby of the Davenport, but Ryan kept insisting that we do it later in the night. So we went back up to our room for a few minutes… little did I know, Ryan needed to grab the ring and stash it in his pocket! We went back downstairs, found someone to take our picture, and while he was snapping, Ryan turned to me and got down on his knee! I was so excited and surprised! (I had been hoping that Ryan would propose in Spokane on our trip and would have been a little disappointed if he hadn’t!) We immediately started Face timing family and friends to share the news!”
So awesome, you two! I had such a great time hanging out and thanks again for trusting me in our little off-road adventure.
