An unseasonably warm day was no match for these two sweethearts and their El Chorro wedding photos! Bright beautiful blooms were abundant, and El Chorro’s lush grounds were the perfect match to the bouquets and floral accents. Surrounded by some of the nicest people I’ve ever met, Lindsay & Whit had a perfect day with their family & friends!
I asked Lindsay to tell me about Whit’s proposal:
“We got engaged on December 27, 2015 when we came back home to Arizona for Christmas! My family had planned a happy hour at our favorite spot, the Camelback Inn, and I was definitely suspicious because my grandma was coming to the happy hour with us. My dad, Whit and I went early to grab a table for the family and I remember feeling so nervous in the car on the way to the hotel. I had been hoping and praying that Whit would propose to me when we went back to Phoenix, and this just felt like it was going to be that moment.
When we got to the hotel, Whit asked if I wanted to go take a walk with him. I instantly knew what was about to happen! He walked me up to a spot with a beautiful view of Camelback Mountain. Whit told me he loved me, then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I obviously said yes without any hesitation! After he slipped the beautiful ring on my finger, we walked back down to the happy hour area where my family was waiting to celebrate. Whit’s parents were not able to be there but they had bought us two bottles of champagne to enjoy! It was perfect and I was so happy that we were finally going to get married!”
