I have a bit of a soft spot for at home weddings, so Kaley & Daniel’s Tucson private estate wedding hit me right in the feels. This newly built, modern architectural dream home is nestled against the picturesque Ventana Canyon. No matter where you turn, you have views of the city, mountain, canyon or saguaros. So for these two to be married at Kaley’s parents home, surrounded by family, friends, and their dog Ichigo, it was the perfect day.
They both shared about when they knew each other was the one:
Kaley: “One day during morning medical rounds, Daniel brought me along to meet the patients under his care. We walked into a 92-year-old nun’s room to find her sleeping in a chair with a covered tray of half-eaten food in front of her. Daniel sat down on the bed quietly, as I stood in the doorway and said ‘Hello! Good morning!’…and proceeded to peak at what she been eating. She was startled at first, but then began to laugh and felt instantly at ease. She even blessed us before we left the room. From there, seeing his natural passion for his patients, students, and medicine inspired me. And he continues to push me out of my comfort zone and remind me that I can do anything every day.”
Daniel: “I would say that since day one, since we had some solo time and started to know each other, it all felt like the most natural thing… ever. There was no awkward silence, it just kept on going and going. Actually, we came to notice that we spent the first 100 days together, literally, there wasn’t one day we spent apart since we started dating. The more I was with her, the more I wanted to be with her. Then the thought of marrying her and spending the rest of my life with her was just present… there maybe from the beginning.”
So excited for you two and your new lives together. Congrats!
