It doesn’t get much better than these Phoenix engagement photos with Morgan & Josh. Living in Austin, but having a love for the desert, they are planning a destination wedding in Scottsdale for this fall. They wanted their session to highlight the beauty of the southwest and I’d say we pulled if off!
I asked Josh to tell me about how he proposed:
“We got engaged December 28th. It had been raining that day. I told Morgan we were going to the vineyards and then spend time at the ranch, but changed the plan last minute. We headed straight to the ranch, and I had a spot staged on the hilltop overlooking the hill country to pop the question. Morgan got out of the car to take a photo, and I ran up behind her, said “Morgan, I have a question to ask you,” and dropped down on one knee. Photographers were hiding in the bushes along with the future best man to capture the moment. It was perfect.
After she said yes, I surprised her with a dinner reservation where our parents were waiting. They hadn’t met yet, so that was very special.”
