Numb toes and fingers were totally worth it for Lucas & Megan’s Arizona snow engagement photos!  We headed up to Munds Park for the afternoon and had some fun in the snow celebrating their engagement with their dog Frank.  I asked Megan to tell me about how Lucas proposed:

Lucas told me the night before that we would have to get up super early the next morning to babysit our nephews.  Once we woke up and got ready, I came downstairs to Lucas sitting on the couch, smirking, and drinking his coffee.  He told me to pack a bag with warm clothes because we would actually be spending the day in Flagstaff!  Lucas said the trip was to celebrate both our birthdays since school would resume soon and our birthdays would be during the week.  

After arriving in Flag, we were just about to leave for dinner and go out downtown when Lucas said, “bring the camera.”  I put up a fight because it was the “nice camera” and the camera bag was “so big” I didn’t want to carry it downtown.  After some serious eye rolls and huffing from me, Lucas grabbed the bag.  Once we arrived to the restaurant 1899 on NAU’s campus, I was just about to open the restaurant door when Lucas said “Let’s walk around for a bit.”  Again, I rolled my eyes and huffed, considering it was freezing outside and pitch black, because campus was technically closed!  

We walked around “Old Main” and came to the clock planter, where Lucas got down on one knee and proposed.  After the ring was on my finger, Lucas saw a man walking his dog, had to ensure he wasn’t homeless, then brought him over to take photos with the camera I didn’t want to bring!
