Arizona Desert Engagement – Molly & Nick

Engagements

Arizona desert engagement - Rachel Solomon Photography

It was an incredibly windy, but lovely day for Molly & Nick’s Arizona desert engagement photos. But these two were troopers and had such a great sense of humor. They stuck it out, hiking through the desert even with Nick’s sprained ankle! Their El Chorro wedding next spring with Revel Wedding Co. is going to be off the hook.

I asked Molly & Nick to tell me about how they met and how he proposed:

Molly: “We first met in 2007 when Nick stopped by my parent’s house to hang out with my brother, since they went to high school together. Even though we only saw each other for a few minutes, Nick claims that it was in that moment that he began crushing on me. Our paths wouldn’t cross again until December 2015. Nick was home from law school for winter break and asked me to grab a drink at a local cocktail bar. We had such a great time that night that Nick ended up canceling his flight the next day to stay an extra week in Buffalo. We started dating shortly after that and the rest is history.”

Nick: “We got engaged in November 2018. After several months of planning, saving, and speaking with both my family and hers, I pulled the trigger and popped the question a day before we went on vacation to San Diego for Thanksgiving break. Originally, I wanted to ask her while we were in San Diego, but I chose to propose at our apartment before we left for the airport so that we could begin celebrating right away.”
