Mozelle & Don’s Westin La Paloma wedding photos were so incredibly elegant and regal, reflecting their day perfectly. The joining of two big families and cultures, it was a fabulous wedding surrounded by their closest loved ones! I asked Mozelle to tell me about a favorite moment from when they first started dating, and when they knew each other was the one:

“We rekindled our relationship at our friend’s wedding, which Don officiated. The wedding was in San Diego, and it was the first time that we’d really spent more than a couple of hours together. We flew out separately and met up to drive out to the wedding location. We spent the early afternoon together, and it was clear that we’d both missed each other, but we were both still nervous, and terribly excited. The wedding was a perfect venue for us to reconnect, as Don gave a really emotional speech for the couple getting married, and his presence and candor really showed me a different side of him. Finally, as the wedding was small, we spent the entire reception together, without leaving each other’s side, which made us feel really connected, although it was really the first time we’d been together.

There’s a specific moment for the both of us when we were still living apart in different states. Don was living in Chicago at the time and we both had an incredible day in the City, exploring, and just being close to one another. We both felt this feeling of effervescence–this airy, light feeling of sort of walking on air, with one another. The day ended with both of us telling each other that we loved one another for the first time.”
