Michelle & Vince’s L’Auberge de Sedona wedding elopement was so sweet and romantic!  Set against backdrop of the Sedona red rocks, and nestled on the banks of Oak Creek, their intimate ceremony was emotional & heartfelt to say the least.  I was even able to sign their marriage license as a witness!  Such an honor!

I asked Vince to tell me about when he know Michelle was the one, and how he proposed:

“Michelle told her friends I was the one after our second date at The Market by Jennifer, where we had a fabulous date in spite of flood lights shining in our faces on the patio.  I remember thinking, “I’m in trouble,” as I walked to my car after our first date, but I knew for sure Michelle was the one after our date at the train park.  We had deep conversations on that date and she opened up to me.  That was when I knew… stick a fork in me, I’m done!

We shared a string of long, romantic email messages that helped us get to know and understand each other even before our first date, and they remain a favorite memory for both of us.  Another favorite memory was a date we had at The Waterfront, where we listened to authors read excerpts from stories, and we shared some very personal stories of our own.

We got engaged a month and a half after our first date!  We went on a hike in Sedona, and I proposed to Michelle near a little pond in the forest.  I’d been trying to hide the bulky ring box in my hiking shorts, and luckily she didn’t see it before the big moment!”
