Lauren & Jed’s picturesque Boyce Thompson Arboretum engagement photos were full of both the desert and wooded areas that make the Arboretum so special. Having just returned from a whirlwind trip to Asia, where not even a monkey bite could stop them, these two jet setters took the afternoon to celebrate their love for each other.

I asked Lauren to tell me about how they met and how Jed proposed:

“We met at a mutual friends house party. They had a DJ and after many drinks we bonded on the dance floor! We love to travel, go to ‘cinematic adventures’ as Jed calls them, go out country dancing and play board games. We’re very easy going and laid back, we compliment each other in many ways, and like to keep things fun.

We got engaged in June of 2017. We traveled to Europe for the wedding of Jed’s sister, Rose. After over 2 weeks of traveling through London, Greece, Italy and France he proposed at night with the Louvre all lit up. With the fountains and beautiful buildings glowing in the background, he got down on one knee and professed his love in the square.”

So excited for their wedding this spring at Blackstone Country Club!
