What a stunning location for Mallory & Dallen’s Sedona engagement photos!  They even brought along their little Frenchie, Beans, to join in the fun.  Such an epic day!

I asked Mallory to tell me about how they met, and Dallen about how he proposed:

Mallory: “Dallen and I met back in the summer of 2009 when we were 17 years old! Although we went to different high schools, we had a mutual friend who invited us both to the same party at his house one night. Dallen and I ended up getting to the party at the same time, and first officially met on the driveway at the house. We spent the majority of the night on our own, away from party, just talking and getting to know each other. We immediately clicked! Dallen ended up driving me home that night, and after walking me to the door, asked if we could hang out the next day, too. We spent the next few days together non-stop, and have been inseparable ever since!”

Dallen: “We got engaged February 5th, 2017. After almost 8 years together, I finally realized it was about time! The day of, we spent the afternoon with Mallory’s family in the part of town where we had first met. At the end of the night, we left their house and I “took a wrong turn,” going in the opposite direction of where we would go to drive home. I quickly made up an excuse about the wrong turn, and explained that I would turn around in the next neighborhood. I turned down the next street, which led us further into the neighborhood where we first met at that party. Unfortunately, I forgot the neighborhood was gated, which threw off my whole plan, and I could tell Mallory was starting to catch on. Once we got through the gates, I tried my best to remember how to get to that house, and then parked the car in front of it. We got out of the car and I led her up the driveway, right to the exact spot where we had met for the first time. I don’t think either of us remember what I said to her, but I managed to propose, and Mallory cried the entire time. Now that spot holds even more meaning to us!”
