Jessica & Joe’s Phoenix desert engagement photos were set in one of the most beautiful locations I’ve photographed in the Arizona desert. Filled with saguaro cactus, beautiful light, mountains, and Jessica’s incredible gown, this session was unforgettable!
I asked Jessica to tell me about they met, and how Joe proposed:
“We met in Las Vegas in November of 2014. Joe was on a bachelor party trip & I was on a break from dental school. Both our groups met while out on the strip.
After a day of running around getting to know each other, Joe told me he wanted to take me to the chapel to marry me! I laughed it off and we split ways to head home. Joe continued to call and text me following Vegas, and we really became inseparable. We reunited for the first time again for our first date in none other than Las Vegas four months later.
We got engaged at the Royal Palms. Joe had the ring for a while and was waiting for the perfect moment. After a day doing fun things in the desert, we went to dinner at Tcooks and shared an awesome bottle of wine during dinner (we both love wine). Joe asked me to go on a walk after dinner, and took me to the Jardin D’Amore courtyard. He got down on one knee (with Camelback Mountain in the background) and popped the question!
After the proposal, Joe read a letter committing and explaining his love to me. It was a very emotional but awesome experience!”
