Arizona has some of the most spectacular light, proven by Carley & Patrick’s picturesque Desert Mountain engagement photos. These two live in Oklahoma City and wanted to highlight the natural beauty of the desert. Scottsdale brought it’s A game and we had a beautiful afternoon trekking through the hilly terrain.

I asked Carley to tell me about how they met and how Patrick proposed:

“We first met through mutual friends in college. A few years later, when I was living in Dallas, he came to Dallas and we reconnected again through mutual friends. We hung out all weekend and started texting, and the rest is history from there! We balance each other out very well without one partner feeling less equal than the other.  We love walking our goldendoodle Remington around our neighborhood, traveling to new places, and attempting to cook fancy recipes!

We got engaged on July 28, 2018. We were in Aspen, Colorado on vacation and went to the top of AJAX mountain on the gondola to eat lunch. We were walking around at the top of the mountain with our dog, and he popped the question!“
