Kaitlyn & Alex’s Sanctuary wedding was so full of grand, picturesque views and intimate, sweet moments. Set at the base of Camelback Mountain, they wanted to have a chapel feel while still being outdoors. The floral cathedral arches were the exact thing to bring this vision to life!
I asked Kaitlyn to tell me about how she knew Alex was the one, and how he proposed:
“I had a strong gut feeling that Alex was going to be very special on our first date. Shortly after we met and made things official, I left Phoenix for the summer. We spent our first month as a couple FaceTiming for sometimes several hours a day, and it seemed like I was constantly smiling! When Alex visited me in Atlanta in June 2019 (after our month apart), we had so much fun together and he fit right in with my family. I remember telling myself during that trip, ‘He’s going to be my husband!’
We were at my parents’ house in Atlanta and Alex proposed by waking me up and coming into my room and proposing. It was about 7:45 AM, and Alex had a cute heartfelt mini-speech about how the special part of our relationship is not the big planned moments, but the spontaneous everyday moments. I got up out of bed, Alex got down on one knee and popped the question, and I said yes! It was a proposal in pajamas!”
