Elissa & Josh’s Arizona Biltmore wedding photos turned out so beautifully! I knew from their engagement photos this was going to be a great day! The weather was perfect for their sunset ceremony and their day was filled with rich color.  It was just right for a fall wedding! These two are so fun and carefree with each other and they even did a fast dance as their first dance!

I asked them to tell me about how they met, a favorite early dating memory, and when they knew each other was “the one.”

Elissa:  We met outside of a bar in TriBeCa in 2009. I was having a bad night, and left my friends to go outside and call another friend to complain about it (haha)! Josh saw me outside and approached me, but I shut him down. He ended up finding me in the bar later and asked for my number–which I reluctantly gave to him. He was so persistent! He called me shortly thereafter and we made a plan to go out on a date.  

I think I knew he was the one from the beginning. I’m not sure what it was, but it has always felt so easy to be around Josh. I felt so comfortable with him from our first date on. It felt like I knew him forever, while still being so new and fun.

Josh:  I can’t say there is a singular moment when I knew, but feel there can be many moments over the course of even a single day. Elissa is the yin to my yang, and it is the moments I stop to recognize this that are most special to me.

Elissa:  One of my favorite memories was when we went out for brunch, early on. Josh dropped food on his sweater and stained it with BBQ sauce. We went to CVS and then back to my apartment where I stain-sticked the sweater and got it out for him. I gave him the biggest tshirt I had, and gave him his sweater in a bag to take with him. He got on the bus to go home, fell asleep, and woke up at the end of the line–in my too-tight tshirt! So funny, still makes me laugh.
