What an epically beautiful, perfectly emotional, and simply romantic weekend for Bailey & Andrew’s Tubac Golf Resort wedding! From the personalized details, to the family heirlooms, and to the heartfelt ceremony and toasts, it was a day to remember.

Their proposal story is highlighted in their engagement session, so for their wedding I asked Bailey to tell me about how they first met and when they knew the other was the one:

Bailey: “We met at The University of Alabama! Roll Tide! I was a freshman and Andrew was a junior. I had recently joined a sorority, Phi Mu, and we had a ‘special’ date party called The Carnation Ball that was taking place that October. This event only comes around once in your four years at school. As a northerner at Alabama, I did not have any close guy friends that I could ask to this ball that was taking place my second month of college. My sorority sister asked if she could set me up and I said of course! The set up just so happened to be Andrew.

Andrew was a Beta. I remember texting him asking if he’d like to come to The Carnation Ball and him saying of course. All of the girls sent their dates a bottle of Jack Daniels with a carnation and formal note asking them to pick us up at the freshman dorm called Tutwiler. I got ready in my friends room, dressed in a long red Alice & Olivia gown. To this day one of my favorite outfits! I remember walking down the stairs with my friends and seeing Andrew dressed in his black tux looking extra handsome! We immediately clicked!

We took a bus from Tuscaloosa to Birmingham and entered a venue decorated in hundreds of carnations with Sister Hazel performing. After a few glasses of champagne, we danced all night. Towards the end of the night, we kissed to Sister Hazel playing All For You – it was pretty magical I must say. His best friend said he came home and said, ‘I’m going to marry that girl…’ I knew he was the one when I found out he was a GREAT dancer, when I couldn’t stop laughing when I was with him, when I met his family (they’re the best!), when he got along with my family, when we moved in together and it felt like the absolute best decision. He’s my best friend!”
