Camelback Inn Wedding

Liza & Eric’s colorful Camelback Inn wedding was incredible! Surrounded by incredible views and the lush grounds of the resort, these two celebrated their big day with tons of family and friends from all over. While concerns of gathering indoors loomed, they made the [best] decision to move their reception outdoors. Music to my ears! You can’t beat the views and the exciting atmosphere of dancing under the stars. It was also an honor to document two fellow Indiana University alumni and relive stories of our glory days as they talked about their favorite watering holes, and having all their friends in attendance.

I asked them each to tell me about a favorite memory from when they first started dating:

Eric: She came to my college date party very early on (maybe one month in) and it was the first time she was formally introduced to a lot of my friends. She immediately hit it off with all of them and they thought I found a hidden gem. The next day we traveled to Ann Arbor for the Michigan-Indiana football game. She met all of my home friends who had gathered there for the weekend. They also thought she was so cute. I was so happy.

Elizabeth: One of the first dates Eric and I went on was at a Thai restaurant called Siam House in Bloomington. I should mention my brother was in law school at the same time (we overlapped one year in Bloomington). Sure enough, Eric and I are seated and about one minute later, my brother walks in on a double date (with his new girlfriend at the time) and gets seated right next to us. We were all hysterically laughing, and the whole dinner my brother, Michael, would look over at us and say, “Big brother is watching!” We still laugh about it to this day.
