Katie & Jason celebrated their destination DC Ranch Country Club wedding surrounded by tons of family and friends. They and their families are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met, and it always feels good to work a wedding when you are being truly appreciated and told so throughout the day. It was an absolute pleasure to document Katie & Jason’s big day!
I asked Jason to tell me about when he knew Katie was the one:
“Our junior year of college we were both studying abroad. I was in Barcelona and Katie was in London. Prior to Katie visiting me, I got tired of taking the metro and went to a motorcycle store to rent a Vespa for the next three months. In all honesty, their vetting process was not very thorough, and despite not knowing how to initially start the bike, I peeled out of the parking lot fifteen minutes later with a highway-legal mini motorbike.
Up until this point Katie had primarily been the voice of reason. So when she visited me, I was shocked when she had no reservations about getting on the back of the bike in order to get the above ground Barcelona experience (she blames the wine–it is literally cheaper than water there). Being able to explore the city, culture, food, sights, and wine (within reason) with her arms around me was one of the best weekends of my life. It was after that weekend that I knew she was the one.”
Thank you both for trusting me to document your DC Ranch Country Club wedding. Best wishes!
